Charlotte Not-for-Profits need Marketing Agencies too.

Here at birdsong gregory, we think volunteer service within the Charlotte community should be as much a part of our corporate culture as checking our Facebook page or attending award shows for Charlotte ad agencies. That’s why we’ve been working closely with the Urban Ministry Center and Classroom Central for several years in an effort to meet these worthy causes’ various marketing needs.

In a time when the economy is down, not-for-profit organizations that provide fundamental social services in our community can suffer steep decreases in donations and volunteers. Which makes it all the more important for Charlotte ad agencies big and small to offer time, talent, and resources in ways that allow these organizations to continue their critical missions.

The images above are part of a brochure we designed for the Urban Ministry Center. This homeless outreach facility needed a capabilities piece to help perspective donors understand the Center’s mission, range of services, and volunteer needs. To accomplish this, we used photography from Van Miller, a local commercial photographer to create a moving piece designed to encourage action and tell the often unheard story of the men and woman in our community who lack safe, permanent homes.
