Because my name is Leslie Kraemer+, everyone always wants to know where the name birdsong gregory comes from. And what the heck it means. Well, it's really not that interesting of a story. Birdsong is my middle name. It is the maiden name of my paternal grandmother. And no, my parents aren't of native american descent. And I wasn't conceived at a Grateful Dead concert. Although those options are so much more interesting. 

Gregory was the name of my former business partner, but since most clients now think of us just birdsong, one day we may opt to simplify what we're called. Until then, however, I kind of enjoy the curiosity around birdsong. People seem to remember it. And I don't even mind the occasional phone call from someone needing help with their parakeet.
